Biography

The Hidden Jewel (2009)

I am a Scottish actress orginally from the small town of Kilbirnie in deepest, darkest, Ayrshire. It was here I first discovered my passion for acting. My stage debut came aged seven, performing in my local youth theatre's version of A Midsummer Night's Dream. I played Puck. Many years later I trained at Drama Studio London and graduated in 2006.

My professional work has taken me all over the country and has included such diverse venues as the huge Buxton Opera House and the tiny Longformacus Village Hall. I am interested in everything from the skills needed for puppetry and mask work to the naturalism of film and television. I enjoy performing outdoors, indoors, on set, off site - the more varied the better! I always look forward to the challenges each acting job brings.
